Digital Production Assistant

Description:

Globe Pequot Press is seeking a freelance contract / temporary staff to work onsite for fixed-term project.

Duties:

Project would entail reformatting content for XML conversion.

Digital archiving of files for Content Management System.

Performs tasks assigned by production manager.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Mac platform, Adobe CS, Quark XPress, MS Office, and Mac support software preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Deadline and detail oriented.

Experience with book publishing processes and standards a plus.
