Globe Pequot Press, is recruiting for an experienced special sales account manager. The ideal candidate is an outside the box innovator with three plus years of trade book publishing sales success. Operating outside traditional channels of book retailers and wholesalers this position will be filled by an imaginative and highly persuasive individual who continually expands the market and makes a substantive contribution to the organization. Responsible for opening new accounts, researching new markets and sales leads, managing existing house accounts and other sales functions. Core categories include Cooking, Travel and Gaming titles. This sales position is housed in our Guilford, Connecticut office.

Qualifications: |
Key Qualifications include:
- 3 years sales experience, preferably within special sales book publishing channel.
- Proven track record of high level revenue achievement.
- Strong written and analytic skills.
- Ability to create presentation materials as required.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
