| The Fundraising Coordinator is primarily responsible for creating both a strong presence in our community and strengthening the agency's base of financial support. |
Duties: |
The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for researching and identifying, and completing the grants and RFP's which are reasonable and appropriate and in-keeping with the agency's current mission, and our strategic goals to enhance and expand our services. The Fundraising Coordinator will research and procure potential funding sources for the agency, through writing grants and letters of inquiry, responding to RFP's; establishing and maintaining cordial working relationships with funding sources and other agencies in the community; promoting the Agency and its programs through public speaking, communication with the media, and development of promotional materials. The Fundraising Coordinator will oversee and work in conjunction with the Board of Directors and other agency leaders in managing & enhancing current agency fundraisers and developing other similar events. The Fundraising Coordinator will be able to generate significant additional funding for the agency.
S/he shall develop a written fundraising strategy.
S/he must meet all deadlines.
S/he will report to the Executive Director. |
Qualifications: |
The Fundraising Coordinator should have:
A Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Excellent written communication and ability to demonstrate such
2 years experience writing grants that have been funded
Proven success working with and managing multiple volunteers |
